The cabin

"welcome stranger." Russ said. "The names Russ." he said with a smile extending his hand.
"Matt." Mat said returning the handshake. Russ was sitting on an old wooden shair that sat beside the fireplace. Matt pulled up to him sitting next to him on a bench.
"Welcome Matt. So tell me, what are you doing all the way out here?"
"Well, I'm new here so I was just looking around, and then I saw the trail and started exploring."
"Well you sure came a ways to come all the way up here. Most people turn back a ways back."
"It didn't seem like that long."
"It never does." Russ said with a smile.
"And then it started raining so I looked for some shelter and... well here I am."
"There you are indeed." Russ said with a hint of excitement that made Matt slightly uncomfortable. "Well since you'll be here for a while would you like some food?"
