"Oh, but I don't have any money on me." Matt said, "All my stuff is still back at the camp." He caught a whiff coming from the kitchen. It DID smell pretty damn good. As if on cue, Matt's stomach let out a small noise of hunger. He touched his flat abdomen and smiled sheepishly. "Nonsense!" Jack said loudly, "A man's gotta eat. And I'm sure of sending you out there in this weather. Have a seat a and I'll send you one of my specialties."
Matt thought it over slightly. He was hungry. And who knows what the camp food would be like. It could be a while befor he had a good meal. But he didn't quite feel like sitting and eating alone while the storm passed.
