a magical banquet?

matt saw in front of him a huge candlelit table covered all sorts of food savoury and sweet alike. it was then that he realise that the table was at least as big as the outhouse 6 times lined up!!! let alone the size of the room he was in! he wanted to turn back but there was no door just a white marble wall. he looked at the table again and heard his stomach rumble violently. he walked up and down the table a few times and -
