The only realistic option

As more and more people got near to watch the 'life-like' statue that was Karina, she realised that there was no way she could get out of there unnoticed. Accepting that she had to be seen by about thirty people in order to get back home, she succumbed to what her brain screamed to her since the very beginning: Run.

Karina ran like hell, barely hearing the gasps of surprise behind her. She left the yard, into the street, then went to a back alley and hid inside an empty trash can. Luckily, no homeless people were near, and none of the people who were watching her managed to follow her.

Karina now had to decide what to do next.
