Lightning + Gryphon = Fried Chicken

The hours trickle by, the sky to the north darkening with black clouds that flicker with random bursts of light, the air smelling bad to you as you fly towards the growing storm. You contemplate warning the princess, but you decide that it would be more entertaining if she was fried to a crisp by a bolt of lightning. So you decide to continue flying into the storm.

After a few minutes your luck changes as a bolt of lightning hits the princess just as you had planed. Unfortunately you forgot that since you're carrying the princess, the lightning hits you as well, reducing both you and the Princess to a fried crisp.

Do you smell Kentucky Fried Gryphon or is it just me?
