Stop and grab coffee - it's gonna be a long...

You decide that before you head into the office, you need to stop at the local coffee shop and grab some caffeine. If the boss is already getting on your case about getting in, it's going to be an excruciatingly long day. There's a decent line, but things seem to be moving well. You order after five minutes and walk out the door with your coffee just under the ten minute mark... when you get another call from the boss.
Thirty seconds later, you hang up in shock. The fact that he hadn't heard back from you in the last ten minutes - neither in person nor reporting back about the cold call - convinced him you're not a team player, whatever that means. You've been fired, and you're not even supposed to get your things - he'll have them mailed to your address.
So one fateful coffee break later, you're suddenly unemployed. On the one hand, you're not entirely sure what to do about money - on the other, well, that's a huge heaping load of stress off your shoulders. You decide to sit down for a moment on a nearby bench, sip your coffee, and think about what to do next. It's peaceful watching the hustle and bustle of everyone else, now that you've got nowhere important to be, until suddenly...
