One Chance Left

You decide to lay there and play dead. If your captors think you are dead they may try to come and remove your body, you reason. So you lay motionless, trying not to breath, waiting...Soon, after a long silence, you sneak a peak and see the window opening with a creak and a man starts climbing down a rope toward you. When he gets to the bottom you hear his boots hit the ground and he walks over to you. He kicks you hard in the side to roust you in case you are just sleeping. You hold in the yelp that came to your lips and force yourself to remain limp and motionless. The gaurd pokes at you with his rifle and convinced that you are dead he shouts up to the outside gaurd,

" Throw down the other rope and go tell the commander that he's dead. I'm bringing him up!"

You hear a coil of rope hit the ground by your head and the gaurd roughly begins to secure you to it. You know that you are now alone with one armed gaurd. You figure you have one chance left to escape. You can either.....

You have the following choices:

1. surprise the gaurd and take his weapon

*Noteb*
2. let him pull you out of the hole first, then jump him.
