Karla walks up and down they length of the room trying to piece together what just happened. Coming back around to where the radio stood on the table top, Karla ran a hand through her hair and wondered aloud, "There's no way the message could have been real. Someone must have stumbled upon the frequency and decided to have fun with me."
Karla walked another lap of the room. Just as she reached the other end of the room she heard that same voice as before, the one that was on the radio. Karla turned around to look at the radio and again she could her the voice. "Hello. Can you hear me?"
Karla paused for a minute trying to decide whether or not to answer again. Finally with a sigh she moved towards the radio resigned on having nothing better to do.
She picked up the receiver and said, "Hello. I can hear you."
"Good," came the voice, "but why are you talking into the device? We're over here."
Slowly Karla turned her head about looking for someone in the room. She didn't see anyone. "Ha ha. very funny," she said, still speaking into the radio receiver.
"Excuse me ma'am, but we're over here," said the voice.
This time Karla located the source of the voice. Slowly she turned her head to the right and saw the speaker. The man, however, was not standing next to her, but on the table next to the radio!! He was no bigger than a small bug, and he was not alone.
