Lydia gets up for a midnight snack

         Hour after hour, Lydia's stomach continued that affect. Was there something wrong with her metabolism? Did she forget dinner? Certainately not? She had the usual spaghetti that her mother makes. But whatever it was, the Goth girl just couldn't take another hour of this hunger pain. So she threw the covers off, and quietly took a walk all the way passed her parents' bedroom, down the stairs, through the foyer, and into the kitchen.
         The clock struck 12, so she might as well have a midnight snack. The first thing she saw was the cookie jar. Now remembering how strict her mother is about everybody's health in this house hold (especially her father's), Lydia unfortunately let her hunger get the better of her, by carefully taking the lid off the jar and taking out one chocolate chip cookie. She chewed on it slowly, hoping it would satisfy her hunger. But after finishing it, her stomach bubbled once again.
"Okay," she said quietly and weirded out, "I think I'll have another."
         And she did, for she continued on, cookie by cookie, until she completely emptied out he whole jar! That's right, the whole jar.
          Satisfied, Lydia tiredly walked all the way back to her bedroom, pulled the sheets back over her body and back to sleep.
