Drew keeps on teleporting Jared to other places...

    by: scriptboy Author IconMail Icon
After Drew had teleported Jared to the video arcade, he decided to summon him back to his bedroom where he was waiting for his buddy.

PING!

“Whoa!” Jared gasped as he looked around, realizing he was back in Drew’s bedroom. “Dude! You send me places so fast; I barely even feel it!”

“I know! That is so cool! Hey, I got an idea!” Drew grinned. “I wrote down ten places on this sheet of paper. These are ten places I like to go to. I’m gonna send you to these places and you’ll be at each place for one minute before you go to the next one, okay?”

“Oh man! That is a lot of teleporting! Is that a good idea to make me disappear to so many places…” Jared began, when Drew snapped his fingers, making Jared disappear.

PING!

“…In just ten minutes? OH!” Jared gasped, realizing he was no longer in Drew’s bedroom, but at the shopping mall!

“Hey, I’m at the mall! He sent me to the mall!” Jared grinned, as he looked around and started to wander around the expansive food court. He turned the corner and started wandering down the wide corridor leading to the shops, when things changed again!

PING!

Next, Jared was standing in the lobby of the movie theater next to the mall!

“The movie theater? What am I doing here?” Jared wondered, as a man walked up to him.

“Do you have your tickets, sir?” the older man asked him.

Jared began to say no when suddenly, he vanished again!

PING!

This time, Jared was standing inside of a coffee shop which was down the street from his house. There were other students there, but he had no money with him so he couldn’t buy anything.

“Can I seat you at a table so I can take your order, sir?” a waitress said, as she walked up to him.

“Uhh… No… I was just leaving… I’m sorry, I’m in the wrong…” Jared began.

PING!

Suddenly, Jared was standing in line at a fast-food restaurant where people were ordering burgers and fries.

“…Place! Oh, man! I teleported again!” Jared sighed, looking around and noticing he was no longer in the coffee shop. “This is crazy!”

“Can I take your order?” the lady behind the counter asked him.

“Uhh… N-n-no, I’m just looking around, I’m not gonna be here for long.”

PING!

Jared heard a loud sound of balls rolling and knocking over bowling pins, which startled him. He was at a bowling alley!

“Oh, wow! A bowling alley?”

Jared wondered around, watching the players, when a man shouted at him.

“No sneakers on the floor! You gotta rent bowling shoes, buddy!” the man yelled.

“I’m sorry, I was not planning on—” Jared explained.

PING!

“…being here! OH!” Jared gasped, realizing he was now standing outside, watching skaters and skateboarders as they rolled down a big, wooden halfpipe. “I’m at the skate park!”

“Yo, dude! Either get a skateboard, put on roller skates, or else beat it!” some kid shouted at him.

“Okay! I’m sorry!” Jared moaned as he walked away.

PING!

This time, Jared noticed he was at an outdoor park, where there was a large playground, baseball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts.

“Oh, peace and quiet, for now!” Jared sighed as he walked around a bit, strolling up to the duck pond. But he didn’t stay there for long.

PING!

“AH! Where did Drew send me this time? The… A beach? Oh, wow!” He sighed, as he wandered around the ocean’s shore and watched people swimming in the water. Of course, he didn’t have his swimsuit with him.

PING!

Jared was standing in a large room where kids and parents were sitting at tables, inside a community center! Kids were using computers, drawing pictures on paper, using their cell phones, and playing games. Everybody was doing fun stuff together.

“Oh, wow. I should come here more often! This place looks great!” he grinned, wandering into the gym where there was a basketball court and a lounge with ping pong tables and people playing foosball. There was even a large indoor swimming pool!

PING!

Finally, Jared ended up where he started. He was back at the video game arcade, where he was just a few minutes ago. Kids were buying tokens and changing dollar bills for coins which they were depositing into dozens of video game machines, which were neatly placed in a row next to each other. There were racing games, shooting games, games of skill, and dozens of pinball games. Jared knew the place well since he hung out here with Drew many times.

“Ah, I like this place! I was just here!” Jared grinned as he walked around.

PING!

And then, in the end, Jared ended up back in Drew’s bedroom!

“There he is! So, did you have fun?” Drew grinned.

“Oh, wow! I went to all these places that you like to go to! That was incredible! I just appeared and then disappeared like it waa… Normal!” Jared exclaimed.

“Welcome to the life of Jared the jumper! I’m gonna teleport you everywhere from now on, now that I know how to do it!” Drew grinned. “I can even change your clothes to match the place you’re going to!”

“Yeah, I wasn’t dressed for the beach or for the bowling alley!” Jared sighed. “And, I didn’t have my skateboard at the skate park.”

“I’ll fix that! I gotta practice this some more. Next time, I’ll send you to the skatepark with a skateboard, or while wearing roller skates on your feet!” Drew declared.

Jared just rolled his eyes.

“So, let’s see, where shall I send you now?” Drew smiled.
