“Okay, you can have the power to fly him like a real drone, just by using your mind and by thinking it!” Drew said to the cute Japanese girl.
“What? Really?” she replied excitedly. “I would love that! I would fly him every day!”
Drew then placed his hands on her shoulders, and he gave her the power to make Jared levitate at will. Jared was overcome by a slight tingling sensation.
“Hey! What just happened? What are you doing to me? What’s going--?” he asked when he suddenly began to rise off the ground! “Whaaah!”
“Ohh COOL!” Yoko cheered, as she concentrated on Jared hovering over her. “It works! It really works!”
Jared flew a few circles over the area where Yoko was standing, ascending higher each time. Then, he flew over the soccer field, the baseball diamond and then he flew over the lake. He hovered over the tennis court when Yoko answered a phone call. Yoko was able to just “park” him somewhere and let him hang in the sky for an indefinite period of time, until she could focus on flying him again. Then, she finally flew him back to where she was standing, making him land right in front of her.
“There! How did I do? Was I a good drone pilot?” she asked him.
“Uhh, yeah. You did better while using your powers than using your cell phone!” Jared shrugged. “You had more control over where I was going, I guess.”
“So, are you enjoying your new drone?” Drew asked Yoko.
“Yes! He is awesome! I’m gonna fly him after school tomorrow! Okay, Jared. I’ll fly you home!” Yoko cheered.
Jared slowly lifted off and he hovered over the street, flying down to his street before landing in front of his house. Once he landed, he received a text message from Yoko.
“I’ll fly you to school tomorrow!”
“Ohh boy! I don’t have to ride the school bus anymore!” he sighed.
