As soon as Drew got a text message about tryouts for the high school track team, he didn’t hesitate and he snapped his fingers, sending Jared to the high school track. Jared didn’t even blink or he was standing near the start of the track, clothed in running shoes and special running outfit and shoes.
“Huh? What the heck? What am I doing here? I’m dressed like I’m about to run on the…” Jared gasped, looking down at his clothes when the track team coach walked up to him.
“Oh, well look who showed up! It’s Jared, right? Welcome to the track team tryouts! Come up to the track and show me what you can do, son!” Coach Williams said.
“What? Me? But, but…” Jared stuttered.
But something internally made him walk up to the start of the track. While Jared was walking, his leg muscles began to bulge out of nowhere! His calves suddenly grew twice as thick. His quads followed suit, expanding in all directions and growing so big, they ended up twice as thick and much wider than before. Jared could feel an intense surge in strength in his legs, which was insane as he stepped on the track and started running his lap around the track. Jared raced around the track, gliding like a cheetah at speeds the coach had never seen before in his career. In fact, Jared ended up breaking the school record when he crossed the finish line!
“Unbelievable! Just incredible!” the Coach mumbled, as he studied his stopwatch. Jared wandered over to him, slightly out of breath.
“You got it, my friend. You’re on the team.” The Coach smiled.
“What? Really?” Jared said, feeling surprised.
“You’re the fastest kid I’ve ever seen on this track. Ever. In my ten years as a Coach. You’re on the team!” the Coach said calmly. “Be here after school at 3PM tomorrow!”
Jared just stared at him. Did he just get added to the high school track team?
