All his life Mark had been devoted to maintaining the perfect physique, but he had never really thought about why. He had an athlete's body, but he hadn't missed being involved in sports at college. There was no use being modest and denying that he enjoyed the attention that his good looks got him, but college had also showed him that it wasn't just the thin who got the second looks. His rugged good looks wouldn't disappear if his weight went up. It had always been his deep blue eyes and his strong features with their permanent dusting of stubble that had been most popular with his admirers anyway.
Overall, he decided that he didn't have any compelling reason to continue putting himself through the strenuous training required to keep his figure. He already liked the sedentary lifestyle far more than working out. And, strange though it may seem, the more he thought about it, the more he enjoyed his fuller figure.
