Jon decides to go to the party

"Of course I'm going!" Jon replied enthusiastically.
"Great!" Chris said,"You know the place it starts at five, which would be in about three hours okay?"
"Alright I'll be there. But I'll need to head home to clean up first, maybe change into some cleaner clothes."
"Good idea, you smell like you haven't showered all week."
Jon tried not to blush, he actually had only showered twice since summer break had started. Being on the couch eating all day hadn't exactly motivated him to get clean.
Forcing a laugh Jon said,"Well we can't all smell like roses."
"Perhaps but, seriously, we could avoid smelling like we took a bath in sweat." chimed in Tom the line man.
"Come on give me a break it is summer."
"We will if you promise wash that stench off." Chris teased.
"Fine. I'm going already. See you around jerks." Jon called over his back.
"Later smelly." came the friendly reply.
Jon drove home uneventfully and quickly took a shower and changed into a set of clean clothes. Unfortunately the waist of his shorts was uncomfortably tight around his slight paunch. Figuring he was still bloated from all the food at the party he changed into a slightly larger pair he kept for when he was bulking up and focusing less on his physique. He put his shoes on and checked his watch. It was still only a quarter after one and he felt a little hungry.
"Man must have really worked up an appetite swimming this morning." Jon thought to himself. "Well might as well eat a little now before I end up pigging out like I did earlier. Besides it will be awhile before the party starts."
