The tree is real

Bill had to rub his eyes and shake his head several times before looking again at the tree. He thought for a moment he was still dreaming but realized he wasn't and the tree growing up through his kitchen floor was as real as everything else in his house. Just not nearly as acceptable. The tree was fairly large about as wide as three telephone poles grouped together. He couldn't tell how tall it was because it had grown right through the roof!
