Flag Retirement at a Boy Scout Camp 2021
This was taken at Camp Verdugo Oaks, CA during a Flag Retirement ceremony in OCT 2021 at our Webelos' Overnighter. I was the supervising Assistant Scoutmaster, but this ceremony really got to me, and I was too emotional and teary eyed to read the retirement, so my son had to do it. He was 19. He was a bit more detached than me, because ceremonies like these really touch my heart as I'm a US Army veteran.
