I certainly do not aspire to the commercial success of John Grisham, Dan Brown, or Tom Clancy. Three of my favorite authors, which reveals something about the kind of stories I like. I do derive pleasure in knowing that people enjoyed reading what I wrote. With millions and millions of books on the market, this is a bit of a visual reminder to me when working in my study. What have you done today to make someone aware of your books? It is a never-ending journey.
If you are considering a similar course, remember success is a journey and not a destination. Don't measure yourself by money or books sold, but be proud that you took the risk and went into the breach.
Best wishes to all
One piece of advice if you are just starting out and want to publish a novel or two. Start with short stories here on WDC and get reviews to hone your skills.
Of course, think about buying my books. Last bit of advice don't be too shy to ask.
