Hot Springs sits at the southwestern corner of South Dakota. Some of the attractions in the Hot Springs area are the Mammoth Site of Hot Springs and Evans Plunge with its naturally warm 87 °F (31 °C) spring water. It actually has hot springs, thus the name. The town is a gateway to the attractions of the southern Black Hills, particularly Wind Cave National Park.
The town takes you back in time with the old keystone buildings. It is a great place to visit if you ever get around to vacationing in South Dakota.
