Its about an evil book |

My parents were going on vacation to Hawaii for the entire summer. I have to stay at my cousin's house. She is 20 and lives in a little town. When you walk down the street you see that everything is small. I am a great reader so I went to the library, if you can call it that. It only had one shelf per genre. I walked in the back to find the fantasy books. I found them very satisfying, but short. I read the entire shelf in one week. I went through the other shelves and soon finished them as well. I came up to the librarian who happened to be a man. I saw a door behind him and wondered were it went. "Sir, what is back there?" I asked praying for the answer to be books. "That is the back room" he said looking at me with curiosity. "May I go back there and choose a book?" I had my cutest face on hoping that it would help his answer to be yes. "Alright but be careful some of those books are very old". I went back into the room. I flipped through most of them and found one to my liking. "How about this one?" I asked as I came up to the front desk. "I don't think you will like that one" I had the cute face on once again. "Oh alright, but finish it by midnight" I was about to ask why but he got up and walked to the back room. That night I kept reading until 11:58. By that time I was only in the middle. I knew I wouldn't finish it tonight so I marked the page and went to sleep. When I awoke I was in the library. "It's just a dream" I told myself. I heard the faintest sound of crying. I walked to the back of the room and there, sitting on a beanbag was a little girl. She looked at me with big brown eyes. "Why are you here?" She sniffled and answered " I couldn't finish one of the book and it sent me here" "How long have you been here?" "three days, there are water fountains over there and a vending machine that's broken so food just comes out" I suddenly knew why we were here. I ran to the back room and sure enough the book was there. I opened it and started to read from were I left off. I finished well before midnight. The book began to glow and vines creeped out of the book. They wrapped themselves around us and pulled us into the book. When I awoke I glimpsed the vines going into the book. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me, or maybe it was real. . . . . |
