Stroke took my left side from me and my husband stole my dignity. I survived with style.
He hated me. He couldn’t stand my family, and tried to convince me that they were brainwashing me. At one point I almost believed him. Before it ended I survived verbal abuse, lies, constant fighting, and a bite to my right thigh.

This is my story. Mine is a story of survival on different levels. I am not a famous person whose story you are just itching to read, but I have a pretty interesting tale to share with you about my adventures with stroke and an alcoholic husband. I tell this story as I remember it, I hold nothing back, if you can't handle brutal honesty turn back now.
