Can you keep a secret?
I have a secret. It's not really my secret, but a secret that I was told to keep a long time ago. The funny thing is that it is no longer a secret for the person I am keeping it for. But it is still a burden for me, and so I keep the secret.

I loved to go to school. What a fun place to learn and to discover. Today we got a picture of a family that we are supposed to fill out and color. A mom, a dad, and as many brothers or sisters as you might have to fill out the wonderful picture. I don't have a dad and I don't have a sister and I don't have a brother. This is not so great of a day. But I still have a secret.

Today I tested my secret. I was very clever and disquised the actual people. I am so glad that I didn't trust my friends with the truth, because they betrayed me and spread the rumors about someone else. I really can't trust anyone with this secret. It is too big.

I really like this boy. I think I have to tell him the secret. I don't want to tell him, but if he is to become part of my family, what choice do I have? He breaks my heart and tells me that I've given him AIDS. What a stupid boy.

Now I've met a man and he knows my secret. We have to tell his family. They don't think it is a big secret, but they agree to keep it. I have a family with this man, and life is great until my children start to grow up. I have to tell my children the secret and ask them to keep it.

Can you guess what the secret is?
