Blackwell's Brutal Reviews

I am notorious for providing meticulously detailed feedback that is unforgiving and can be downright brutal depending on the author and the content they have requested my critique on. That is not to say that I am cruel, just honest. I just don't point out an error for you to fix. I point out all of your errors and go to great lengths to explain why they are errors and how you can avoid them in the future. The reason I do this is that you will be able to reach your potential as a writer and learn from these mistakes. I am offering feedback; I am not offering editing services so that you can give a crap less about your work. Got it?

If you are looking for this particular kind of critique, here I am. Please make your submissions below, and I will do my best to get to them in a timely fashion. I do, however, have a few rules of my own.

I will only review short stories, novellas, novels, series, and chapters. I do not provide critique on poetry as I am not experienced in that area. The only thing I ask of you, is that if you intend on submitting a much longer work, please be sure to break them up into pieces so that I may have a breather in between critiquing your work. Trust me, if I were to review a novel, my review would be three times in length of the novel itself. It's better for you, better for me... just better for everyone.

And I do not charge for my critiques either. I simply request that you swallow your pride and take my advice to heart. Use it to your benefit and make the most of all the energy and hard work that I put into reviewing your work.
