Without actually reading it, Bard, it's hard to say. An erotica doesn't have to be violent or filled with swearwords to warrant an XGC rating.
Both GC and XGC ratings signify excessive references to sex. Personally--and I'm not saying that this is the official Writing.Com rule--I feel that a piece that involves sex only (i.e. no plot, no character development) should be rated XGC. Think of Penthouse Letters. All sex, no substance.
An item that has some plot development, some character development, and a real story, should be GC, in my opinion.
Having said that, items rated XGC are more likely to be viewed, so.... *shrug*
