I was going to listen to it only National Public Radio, but I was in a really foul mood (my blood sugar was low!), so I ended up getting pissed off and giving up on it. Kerry and Bush both sounded about the same to me. I don't really like Kerry in the grand scheme of things, but I'm planning to vote for him. Rachel's talked about voting for Nader instead. I'm angry because it's not really like we have an option between the two. I mean, they're kind of carbon copies! Sure, they have different policies, but they're both old rich guys with gray hair and they even went to the same university (Yale) and they're both members of the weird, cult-like, all-male club at Yale called the Skull and Bones Club. That makes me sick. I want a REAL option like a woman and/or an ethnic candidate! Ilona, I feel so ignorant asking this, but I don't know anything about the Netherlands' politics. Do you have a President or a Prime Minister, or what? Have you ever had a woman in that position? England had Margaret Thatcher (did I spell that name right?); I can't believe America, the "land of the free," has never had a female or minority President!! Argh, it makes me mad.
