Ellie, your mom took Fea's mom's side, huh? Maybe your mom has had the same feelings as her mom -- the need for control over the house that she bought and paid for and maintains. I told my mum and she looked surprised and didn't understand why Fea's mum didn't talk it over with her kids first. Then she hugged me and said she hopes I trust her to stay out of my space and that I have just as much right to this house as she does. I feel really spoiled now! Zib, did you tell your parents? What did she say?
