Yep. Last night in training me and Jane were learning the compulsory routine. We were gonna enter the comp as novices but since we can now do everything for the compulsory section of the intermediate rountine section, we're gonna go ahead with that level and hope for the best. it's really not that hard to be hoest. You don't have to have talent, you just have to be willing to try your best and just go for it. It's much easier than gymnastics, thats for sure! The routine I'm doing for compulsories is: Full twist, staddle jump, swivvle hips with half turn out to feet, pike jump, back drop with half turn to feet, tuck jump to immediate tucked front somi. It's only a 10 bounce comp layout. Compulsories are simple and only worth (in my section) 1.2 tarriff out of 4.0. The optionl section for my level which i haven't started learning yet includes a back somi too, which I'm hopeless at, but I'll give it a go. optionals have to be worth at least 1.8-2.1 tarriff though, so i'll have to learn to do more conbinations to build up my points. I've basically got a month to get it sorted. The comp's on Nov 13th at warwick uni. It's called the Warwick University open Trampoline Championships. only unis compete, so I guess it's similar to your NCAA stuff??? I dunno, maybe not?!
