Oh, he left early because it's like a 10-hour drive from here to the camp in West Virginia, so he had to get started. Yes, miss smarty-pants, I got to hug him! We grabbed each other tight when he was hugging us all right after arriving, and we hugged good-bye before going to bed. Very unschoolerish. Hugging is so...so...nice, isn't it? *shutupshutupshutup, Elizabeth!* He has a couple older brothers and a mother and a father, with whom I presume he spends the holidays. He hasn't made up his mind about New Year's yet; he might come down here, but he might also go out to California for another camp New Year's party that's going on there. Or, he might stay home. Dunno. Oh, more about Fiona -- I'd heard all that from Jimmy. When I read her e-mail myself, about not being able to make it, it wasn't as dire as I'd thought. More like, gotta find a couple more drivers, might not be able to make it, but might still, just wanted to let us (the hosts) in on what was going on. I really hope she can come! I miss her lotsa lots. Visit my web site at http://elizabeth.bouma-holtrop.com! |
