Hi again! I sent you a sort of get-well pacakge today. I had to send it EcoLetter because I only had $4 on me, so it'll take longer to get to you, but keep an eye out for it! I'm really glad to hear from you again. That's so great and sad and funny and wonderful what you wrote...I've even imagined him running up to Karen Carpenter in heaven & telling her how much I love her! Totally!

I was reading about humor in a magazine the other day and it talked all about how incredibly good it is to keep a sense of humor during the worst possible experiences. If you have a sense of humor, you WILL survive and get on with life, I believe.

You sound fairly perky which is excellent. Maybe it's a kind of I'm-so-sad-I'm-hyper kind of perky?

Gosh, I wish I knew what to say! I feel horribly inadequate with words right now.

I also have a bunch of questions, but I'd feel WAY too morbid to ask any of them!!!
