Your Pet Did What???Tell Me, Tell Me!!

Hi, I'm new to Writing.Com. There is so much to explore here! This is really great! I am 46,single, handicapped, and live at home with my Mom and our parakeet "Chuckie".

When I edit a story or article, I print it out and edit it from a hard copy. Anyway, one day I had the printed work on my desk and I just turned my back for a split second. Chuckie got on the ms and left a dropping right in the middle of the first page. When I turned back and saw what he his contribution to the project was, I howled with laughter. I thought, "Everybody's a critic". I asked him if that was his opinion of the piece. I printed the top page out again and edited it, and sent it off. It came back with a rejection slip. I guess Chuckie was trying to tell me something?

Working for the Lord doesn't pay much, but the retirement plan is out of this world!
