Chronic Pain Awareness

Quite a while ago I was looking through the forum lists and saw the "Chronic Pain Awareness" forum, and clicked on it immediantly.
But being the lazy person I am, I just bookmarked it and forgot about it.
But here I am, and let me introduce myself.
My name is Alissa, and I'm a 15 year old gymnast ex-gymnast. Gymnastics has been one of the greatest things for me, but I can't do it anymore. I had to quit it recently due to back, hip and neck pain. (I also hurt in knees and ankles, but my physical therapist chose to ignore that.) Basically it's been hurting since the end of September 2003.
I have a long story about going from stupid doctor to stupid doctor (no offense to any doctors here - just my experience), but I'm not going to bore ya'll with it.
What reminded me to post here is the fact that the day before yesterday I flew from Europe to Florida, and now I'm here. And the plane ride killed me.
So... yeah.
And I saw that someone mentioned how pain has no respect for youth (or something like that), and that's so true. -_-
Hrm.. I'm not going to complain anymore - I'll go read some other posts..
