Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly...I wish there was a way for you to get more rest. It's frustrating when you want to take time off work to take care of yourself, yet you know you can't as so many others depend on you being there to do what you do. I'm sure your daughter understands why you won't be watching the competition, it sounds like you have a good kid there.
Oh, sheesh...most kids want some sort of 'payment' for helping out, though I'm sure she would have done it without it too.
