I've always heard that the normal hair-growth rate is six inches per year. If Fleur's grows twelve inches per year, I envy her!
I think, though I'm not sure, that I gain about six inches per year. In 2002 and 2003 I noticed at the end of the summer that my hair seemed longer. Maybe it grew over the summer? This year, however, I noticed that it seemed longer around the beginning of spring. Why would it have grown in the winter this year, and in the summer the past two years? I really should start measuring it and keeping a written record, instead of just in my head.
