I was suprised that I hadn't heard about the shootings until I read your post because my boyfriend goes to MSU. I did a quick Google News search and the stories I read (from the State News) said two of the murders were a murder-suicide in a martial arts studio and the other was at the 7-11 near campus. None were actually on campus and no students were involved. The reason it's such a big deal is because they are the first shootings in E. Lansing since 2000. Hope that clears things up.
