I think it's stress related, as it always seems to pop up around the same time I have exams/projects/assignments etc. And boredom... Like when I know I don't have to be up for anything the next day, it'a as if my body says, 'well, you may as well just stay awake then.' I think it's also the fact, that at night, it's the only real time I have to myself that's quiet and uncluttered and when I'm not surrounded by people. (you know, coz of living in a dorm style area)
It's more inconvienient than anything to be honest!
