Hey Cubby,

Throw the old point system out the window with the Winston Cup and say hello to Nextel. It's a whole new ballgame. Ummm, race world.

DNF - Did not finish

Clean slate type thing...well, I'm still trying to get this sorted out! I have a few questions their myself, but I get the gist of it. I THINK!

If I understand correctly, (and if I don't, perhaps Sneezy or someone can help) at the end of the 26th race, there will be the top 10 drivers. Everyone one then goes to a 5 point spread.

It's like...the top driver will have 50 points, the driver in 2nd will have 45 points and so on and so forth.

Each person that wins a race there after will get 5 points for winning the race and oh my gosh...there is so much more and I'm really not sure now if I do get it at all! LOL

I do know that if you only have a 5 point lead and then you have a DNF you can kiss the cup goodbye! (unless others have the same luck)

I'll teach ya the ropes to the best of my ability. Things change every year and I just do my best to keep up! LOL It's quite a task sometimes! Especially since I work about 50 hours a week, homeschool by dear son in the afternoons and spend entirely too much time at this addictive web site!
