Naked Chef...I'm pretty sure he chose the name because the food that he cooks is simple, without tricky steps or ingredients, and without hard-to-understand processes and difficult cooking techniques required. I have his book The Naked Chef Takes Off and I want his first book, The Naked Chef. His food is amazing...so simple sometimes, like just ricotta, figs, and honey, or toast with seasoned tomatoes. He also believes in free-range eggs and organic produce, so I'm quite happy! You should get his books, Yana! They're not cheap -- mine cost $34 -- but well worth it. I wrote out some recipes for you. One I did in Dutch measurements, though I got so frustraed because I couldn't figure out if Holland uses grams or ounces! So I decided this: I'll just buy you all the American measuring cups and spoons, write the recipes with our measurements, and you can bake with them when you get them! Exciting, huh?! I also want to send Ellie cups and spoons from the US so she can use my recipes. |
