I don't think I had a favorite BSC book. I liked the "Super-Specials," especially the one about putting on Peter Pan. Oh, and I liked the one BSC about the kids in the beauty pageant, though I no cringe that I gobbled that kind of stuff up. Erk. I've never found out: Did Ann write the whole frickin' series herself? That seems a little much. Usually what happens with those is that they get ghost writers after a while and the original author quietly retires. I suppose Ann could've been writing them all along, though -- I should do some searches and see what I can find out, or else read the books and see if the writing style changes at any point in the series (a rawther sure indication of switched authorship). I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone else was writing the Karen books -- they felt so different. In fact, it could be that Ann wrote the BSC ones but other writers did all the extras, like the Karen books, Super-Specials, etc. What think you, Catsy?
