"A Problem Page For All!"

You got my letter! Yay! (I mailed it ages ago, though...I wonder why it took so long to get there?)

Good luck with figuring out where you're going to be next semester! When do you have to sign up for your classes for next semester, or decide where you'll be, or whatever? Dad's got advising going on...right now, I think. Do you have a faculty advisor? Do you like her/him? Guilty secret: Professors don't like advising. Dad's always in such a bad mood. It's supposed to be easy but students always take forever and overspend their time so the twenty-minute slots extend into half an hour and the profs' schedules are thrown off.

They're all there for the students, though, so probably they shouldn't complain. Sigh. If only it wasn't all about the students; if only it was about academics, higher learning, education, educing learning...

Let me know if you ever relearn knitting! I got some new yarn the other day, which pleased me no end. I ADORE variagated yarn (where one color merges into the next, instead of the whole skein/ball being one solid color) so I'm having fun with my "starbrights" and "artist's pallette" and "sunset" shades. I love seeing what name they'll stick on a color/variagated skein of yarn. Who gets to sit around all day coming up with color names for yarn, anyway?
