Okay, I've been lurking for a while here, trying to get up the courage to get through the over 200 posts that have gone up in the 6 weeks that I was unable to get to internet access here. By here, I mean in Ireland. However, tonight Alexa was nice enough to fill me in on most of the stuff that has happened so that I could save the back reading to when I have time and post up here saying basically the same thing that my handle says at the moment: I'm back! Did you miss me? *grins* So anyway, here is my 7th week in Ireland and only 3 more left before it's back to England for me and Christmas time. After that, my plans are to go over to Switzerland to meet up with my boyfriend Ian (yes Fleur, it is now offical, we are together and about time to everyone who talks to me about it *sigh*) Actually, by some strange coincidence, I am talking to him online at the moment at the same time as talking to Alexa. I stray from the point. This is not the most exciting of all of my news. You are now reading the post of a person who, after the third week of January, flies from Switzerland back to Ireland to commence her two year job in a youth hostel and assistant manager. *steps back and waits for the rounds of applause that are bound to come* So yeah, basically that is my whole news. I could go into detail about it, but it is already creeping onto 4am (again) and since I was on the net till 7am yesterday morning (one of the perks of this job is getting free net access between the hours of 6pm and 8am) I think I should probably get a little more than a couple of hours snatched here and there along the way. Just thinking it might be a good idea is all.... I might just leave it at that, because now that I have written it, I feel so much more tired, and I would just hate for the next pang of tiredness to pass me and leave me in an insomniac state, so far from the much needed sleep that I would like to get. Tomorrow I will be going to the local Irish pub where I will continue in my lessons at Irish set dancing and pick up the free drinks of Bailey's that people there inevidably offer me. *grins cheekily* but for now, if I don't get sleep, I will not last another night like this one. It's great to be back and I can only hope that it is as great for you to have me back. Until next time that is hopefully not 6 weeks in coming *grins* Love, Nicola |
