At 13, you probably shouldn't worry about having never been on a date of any kind... Seriously you have an entirw 4 yrs of high school (and beyond) to worry about guys and stuff like that.
If you let things happen in their own time and don't rush through your teens, having a love life will be all the more better when it does come looking for you.
But if you're really worried and wanna try the dating business, I'd suggest casuallt asking some of your female friends and some male friends out for an evening (no pressure, just friends) to someplace like the cinema, bowling alley, ice rink etc and just see how things go. You can't really go wrong- at worst you'll end up with some male friends, which are always handy and less bitchy than girls! lol.
