About the e-mail filters...

Looks like spam is becoming quite popular these days, so I'd just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Why not implement an option in the mail system (maybe a checkbox or something) that would make each person able to accept e-mail from exclusively all addresses ending in "writing.com?"

This would help ease spam killing, as it would only track what is accepted as opposed to what is denied.

Of course, this filter would have to be strictly up to each user, otherwise members who used their e-mail for correspondence with other sites might accidentally purge legitimate e-mail. It would however kill spam for members who use the e-mail only for writing.com correspondence.
