Well, I've been up since 3 this morning. I woke up sweating my butt off. I remember thinking, "Gee, did I take my medicine today?" Then, I heard this huge yawn and figured out what the problem was (at least initially). I was sandwiched between the dog and my dear hubby and, obviously, was sizzling like a piece of bacon on an open fire. So, I get up (thinking I can actually do something productive). I pass by the thermostat and decide to check it. "I'll be damned!" I cry out loud. My husband has turned on the daggone heat. It's 60 degrees outside and he's turned on the heat! What was he thinking?!
Anyway, it's almost 5 now and I'm all out of things to do that I want to do (that's always the catch isn't it?). I am, however, working on a short story (or something of the like) that I hope to be able to post to my portfolio upon completion. I just decided I'd take a break and share this lovely experience with those that might understand (I hope -- otherwise, I'm simply nuts).
