The Forum (SC2)

We emerged into to a world that was like no world I had even imagined. My
head spun dizzily and my gut roiled from the nausea of the stench, it was the
odour of decay, methane, I thought, How ... how had I arrived here?
 I knew that in order to figure out to where we had fallen I must over come my
fear. I must clear my head and I must reconnoiter my surroundings. I saw that I
was in a wide swampy valley. The air was steaming, hot and humid.  Swarms of
insects that looked like large mosquitos buzzed sounding like small electric
motors.
The vegetation was green, more green than I had ever seen, it was different, I
did not have words to describe the difference but I felt that I was in a
different world, I was no longer in my time or place. I was not on any place
that I knew as earth.
In the distance I saw a sight that could only be an hallucination. It was a
giant carnivorous dinosaur, no mistaking it, a "T" Rex. Near by lay the
bleeding carcass of what I took to be a grass-eating dinosaurs. The predator
was tearing at the flesh, I could not be among dinosaurs, But then what?
Another dinosaur approached the first and attempted to drive it away from the carcass. They fought snapping and grunting, drawing blood until the interloper retreated...
I was in the company of James Swain and professor Collins.
"Where are we" I asked.
"I don't know ," said James.
"Is this a dream," I asked.
"then we are all dreaming," the professor spoke at last." Every thing that I
see is consistent with the Jurassic period, perhaps middle Jurassic.
"How did we get here?"
"What were we working on in the lab," the professor asked, "my mind is fuzzy."

"Singularity physics " said James.
"Oh yes, yes now I remember, we were using the Quantum mechanical process to
help explain tunneling."
"Yes," I said "I remember, we were testing Stephen Hawking's theory that a
particle can spontaneously pass through a time barrier."
"We were far too sucessful" said the professor. "We must have encountered a
microscopic black hole and time tunneled millions of years into the past."
"How do we return," I ask beginning to panic.
"We don't" said the professor.
