This was previously reported and fixed. At current, I'm not able to duplicate any current issues. If you could provide some URLs with examples, I can work on any specific areas. For forums, I just tested and the covers seem to showing on the items and on b-items within posts, so I really seem some specific examples.
[Edit: I just found that the dynamically loaded "Newsfeed" (as you scroll and it loads more) are not correctly loading covers. I will fix that in a jiff.]
