1. Read T. Kingfisher, Corazon de Acero, and re-read Rosa Ribas Lejos while still reading Dracula. *BigSmile*

2. Handle scenes like Rosa Ribas does in Lejos. Try and write 5 scenes managing narrative voice, dialogue, action and setting. Ask myself: what is the most important aspect of my setting and how might it affect the characters or communicate some aspect of their lives? *Crazy* --- I need to rethink this. It was okay, but not that productive. I don't want to mindlessly bash out words, but I do want to get words on the page and this effort to write scenes didn't work for me as I dried up pretty quickly. I might try Le Guinn writing exercises from Steering the Craft next week to do both. I want to see the problem and to solve it. I enjoy that element of writing. Still, it feels like two steps forward and three steps back.

3. Evolve Eevee into Espeon. *BigSmile*

4. Look at the world with kind eyes as much as humanly possible. *Crazy* It's a difficult world.

5. Savour my morning coffee. *BigSmile* Always a winner.

6. Write sentences using new verbs in Spanish every day. *Smile* Bueno, bueno, bueno! Madre mia! Que bueno!
