Greets, You can correct me if I’m wrong but the gist of your post seems to be basically we just need to fund unlimited traffic (and scrapers) to the interactive story section of the site. While we did that for close to two decades, indeed that time has ended — along with most of the other sites on the internet that have moved to outright paywalls… or worse, disappeared completely, taking all of the content with them. I understand people want everything for free. It’s just not going to happen. If that loses us people, I understand and it’s something I accept. We can’t please everyone all of the time and I will always do what’s in the best interest to the long term stability of Writing.Com. The limiters will stay in place, but I’m very open to additional tools and updates to the system to improve the experience -- again, aside from the requirement that people chip in to enjoy them. To be clear I have nothing against the interactive users who are willing to support our site and our community and I do personally get a lot of enjoyment coding for the interactive including a lot of the updates I’ve made in the recent years … which I gather you don’t like, but others do. ![]() Best, SM A Few Helpful Tips... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
