I looked up who invented the potato chip, but there's a lot of conflict surrounding that honor. I'll say George Crum, an African American chef, started cooking potato chips in 1953 when someone complained about his thick potatoes and the potato chip was on it's way to gaining popularity! What's your favorite chip? Me?
In my neck of the woods I enjoy a good Lays lightly salted chip, but if I'm back east, I always get Wise.
