Where all you have to do is read books to receive awesome prizes. |
YAY! I have some more in a series I want to finish. I considered doing it this year, but it's like 9 more. If I'd planned better, I could have used it for series, fantasy, and/or new beginnings and/or my choice, but I've already used series, and new beginnings with this one. Wait. I said this was book 1. What did I do with the other ones? What in the world, Jody?? Let me investigate this.... I was going to try to finish up the other series (I had finished it a few years ago, but apparently he's written 9 books since then!), but couldn't see how I could make it work. But maybe I wasn't thinking right. Sometimes the (not THAT) old brain doesn't process well. Annoying. It doesn't bode well for my future, for sure! My only only problem with the title is I keep calling it The Temperamental TEMPTRESS instead of Enchantress. Hahahaha! In fact, a couple of times, I've been like, "Why did they call her a 'temptress'?" Uh, yeah, they didn't. YOU keep calling her that. lol Anyway, it might be interesting if you explore including some sub- or sub-subgenres as options. Maybe list a couple in case it's really just not someone's thing. If a person hates fantasy (because they're a horrible human lol), they're probably not going to like LitRPG any more than regular fantasy. lol But if you got some sub- or sub-subgenres from 2 or 3 genres for us to choose from in 1 month, that could be interesting. I thought I'd try to find you a good list. This one is interesting, though clearly not fully comprehensive since it doesn't have LitRPG on it. lol But it has several I didn't know existed like Fantasy of Manners or Quiet Horror. Those are 2 interesting ones that piqued my curiosity for future reading. https://www.servicescape.com/blog/book-genre-encyclopedia-144-genres-and-subgenr... I'm not sure I'd really latch onto Fantasy of Manners like I have LitRPG, but I've never read one, so I'd give it a try to check it out. And I'm not really a horror person, but I've definitely read some horror. Quiet Horror sounds interesting for something new to try. Thanks for helping me find those. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
