The default content rating for Writing.Com Support Author Icon's newsfeed posts are 18+ so that we don't have to worry about mis-rating to the low side for comments or link content. While I manually set some posts lower, most (like newsletters) come through at 18+.

The most likely issue is that you content rating is set lower and so the posts are being excluded.
