Update for the week of February 3 to 9, 2025
Writing:
Write 750 words a day - Not doing the best here this week. I may get to 2500 if I'm lucky.
Did my Morning Pages each day and asked for guidance when I felt the need.
Did my check ins for Dragon Vale (a couple of days) and Habit Heroes most days.
Do a contest entries for WDC and a short story for The Bradbury.
Got my poem edited for Deadlines for Writers and posted it on Wed. Feb. 5
Worked on various projects - poetry, short story and novel.
Participated in as many writing events as I was able:
Tues. to Fri. 9 am Cre8tive Collection... If I 'm not working. All mornings, but Wednesday... but I did connect up with them around 1 pm.
Tues. 7 pm Writing Down the Bones Workshop - canceled, but I still showed up for chats.
Thurs. 7 pm Cre8tive Collection. *Checkg*
I may have a Beth Kempton - Substack workshop this week... I am slowly working through her content on my own time. I have access until May 31, 2025

Reading:
Goodreads 2025 Reading Challenge: 30 books. Read 3 books so far.
I am doing Rachel's Reading Room Challenge again this year.
I read and make notes for pages 130 to 151 of Writing down the Bones (due February 4) Homework also got accomplished.

Work:
Be ready to supply each week day. Only did half a day this week.
Get some of my online training completed. None.

Health:
6K steps a day - 5 days over 6K; one of those days over 10K
Meditation - continuing to do Sahaja Yoga Meditation each evening for an hour + morning meditations with Insight Timer (and some evenings as well)
Water - drink at least 1000 ml a day. Most days have been 1800 ml.
Body Groove - began the 21 Day Turnaround program. I am on track = Day 8 (began Feb. 2)
No eating after 8 pm. Some days I have managed this. I am monitoring my stomach for acid reflux as I am only taking meds if I need them now.
No screen time after 8 pm. I struggle with this... most nights I sign off after meditation at 10:15 pm or so.
Continue to re-establish my bed time after time for closer to 10:30 pm. Getting better at this.

Other:
Take out the Green bin and Blue Recycling bins. *Checkg*
Take an Artist Date. Saturday I went out on my own to shop Conestoga Mall and go to Starbucks to read - House of Earth and Blood.
Getting my Online presence back. Nothing this week
Help mother manage her finances and other things (laundry, meals, etc.) Make another appointment for an ultrasound on her liver. Make her appointments with GP (checkup) and Cardiologist. Get POA stuff to the proper places.
